In my opinion after using several hosts, the best for the money is Hostgator. Their service is top notch, resolving all problems fast and courteously. Now you may ask, why would I want a host that has problems?

If you asked that question then you are probably aware of the fast evolving changes that takes place in the Internet. The behind the scenes changes are even faster. The PHP server side script language that most hosts use are updated regularly, currently on version 5. This means that ultimately your website or mine that relies on the script may slightly change the way your site is viewed or experienced by your site visitors.  Recently changes to the servers caused my sites  to stop displaying certain pages on my sites. I got on the phone with them and they solved the problem ASAP.

You do NOT want to have a problem, and not be able to get anyone on the phone who isn't knowledgeable, or worse yet, they say the problem is on your site.
